Export revenue enjoyed stable growths in the first 5 months

BTO-Export of commodities in May has posted favorable results, with a total revenue of USD 50.71 million, raising by nearly 35% compared with that of the same month last year.

Accordingly, 3 major groups of products realized increased export turnovers. Particularly, group of seafood reported an estimated export earnings of USD 13.19 million (an increase of 7.24%) while group of farm produce earned USD 2.28 million )an increase of nearly 62%). Export revenue of group of other products is nearly USD 35.24 million, raising by 47% in comparison with that of the same month of 2020.

Therefore, the accumulated export turnover of this year’s first 5 months reached an estimate of USD 237.93 million, an increase of 32.87% compared with that of the same period last year. Of which, group of other products contributed the most with USD 167.91 million (up 42.19%). Group of marine products realized an estimated export value of USD 61.78 million (up 11.81%) while export revenue of agricultural products achieved USD 8.24 million (an increase of 43.84%).

Asian markets have been key markets of Binh Thuan’s exported products during the first months of this year, with a total export turnover of USD 151.8 million, raising by 31.17%. In which, exports to Japan have posted increased value thanks to seafood and garment products while export of metalliferous ores to Chinese market also enjoyed sharply increases.
