Binh Thuan: Revenues from tourism activities reached over VND5,700 billion

BTO - The latest statistics show that in the first quarter of 2024, the entire province is estimated to receive more visitors and achieve revenue from tourism activities, increasing compared to last year.

With an additional 710,800 visitors in March 2024 (a 3.5% increase compared to the same month last year), the total estimated number of visitors in the first quarter of this year for the entire province is 2,168,600, a 6.4% increase compared to the same period last year.

Specifically for international visitors, in the first three months of the year, about 121,900 visitors came to Binh Thuan for relaxation and entertainment, a 78% increase compared to the same period in 2023.

Binh Thuan tourism continues to attract a stable number of visitors in the early months of the year.

Thanks to welcoming and serving a stable number of visitors, contributing to bringing the revenue from tourism activities in Binh Thuan province in the first quarter of 2024 to an estimated 5,701.5 billion VND, a 6.2% increase compared to the same period last year. It is known that in recent months, the estimated revenue from accommodation services for the entire province reached 1,346.6 billion VND (a 4.2% increase compared to the same period) and food services about 4,057.5 billion VND (a year-on-year increase of 2.7% ).

Entering the first month of the second quarter of 2024, the tourism activities in the province are forecasted to continue to be vibrant and attract a large number of visitors because the month includes the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day (10th day of the 3rd lunar month) and the holiday of April 30th.
