Despite La Ngau being located within the planned area for the construction of the La Ngà 3 reservoir, and the uncertainty about when it will be implemented, tourists come here to immerse themselves in nature. These tourism sites, which have been spontaneously developed over the past two years, are now gradually being officially recognized and regulated as part of rural tourism, with permission to operate tourism on agricultural land under the 2024 Land Law and Decree 82/CP.

During the transition phase, while awaiting new regulations, tourism sites have formed along the Ta My River in La Ngau commune. Though the facilities are very classic, they have already created an appeal, striking a chord with the travel community. This attraction is not only due to the stunning scenery, which mixes mountains, hills, and rivers, arranged in a natural style reminiscent of a Hollywood movie set but also because of the distinctive cultural features and local cuisine of the Rac Lay and Co Ho people in this area. The involvement of the local community in offering tourism services according to any legitimate request from visitors has created a charming atmosphere, allowing tourists—especially those from other provinces and cities—to enjoy the mountain and forest landscape.

According to estimates from the People's Committee of Tánh Linh district, nearly 100 Rac Lay and Co Ho people are working at tourism sites in La Ngâu in various roles. Additionally, many other locals participate in providing services and collaborating with the tourism sites. A notable service is the provision of forest products, such as wild vegetables, which are used to prepare meals for guests in some tourist areas. Some households even preserve traditional family recipes for making "cơm lam" (bamboo rice), which is highly sought after because not everyone can cook it well. So, when tourists request it, the tourism sites reach out to these households to prepare it for them. Furthermore, during harvest seasons, thanks to tourism, locals can sell their farming products at higher prices than they would to traders. As a result, the income of the ethnic minorities in La Ngau has significantly improved since the arrival of these tourism sites.
The business *Suoi Đá La Ngâu*, known in English as La Ngâu Rock Stream, reports that its operations currently provide jobs for 30 workers, primarily from the Rac Lay and Co Ho ethnic groups, aged between 20 and 55, suitable for various job positions. Therefore, wages vary, ranging from 8 to 15 million VND per month, not including tips for good service. Payments are made directly to workers' bank accounts, so local ethnic workers know how much to withdraw for spending, while the rest is saved or used to buy gold.

The household business also shared that, to have a workforce predominantly composed of women as it does now, much time was invested in training workers on how to serve tourists with the best quality while also reflecting civility and politeness. Using a camera system, the business can promptly address inappropriate behaviors or attitudes. Over time, this has contributed to a transformation in the way workers speak, dress, and their overall awareness. As a result, the business continues to attract an increasing number of visitors.
