BTO- This morning, the Binh Thuan Provincial Photographers’ Association, in coordination with the Provincial Cultural Center, officially opened the photo exhibition titled “Ho Chi Minh – Portrait of a Man and 50 Years of the Nation’s Journey.” The exhibition is held in celebration of two significant national milestones: the 50th anniversary of national reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025) and the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2025).

Taking place from May 19 to May 31 at the Provincial Center for Culture and Arts, the exhibition features two main sections: Part 1 showcases 62 documentary and journalistic photographs, capturing simple, everyday moments from President Ho Chi Minh’s life as well as key milestones in his revolutionary career. Part 2 displays 50 award-winning photographs by members of the Binh Thuan Photographers’ Association. These works — highly acclaimed in both national and international competitions — reflect rich perspectives on Vietnamese life, culture, nature, and people, celebrating the nation’s vibrant progress over the past 50 years.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Dang Hong Long, head of the Binh Thuan Chapter of the Vietnam Photographers’ Association, shared that the 50 works in the second section were created by 17 local photographers, many of whom have received prestigious gold, silver, and bronze medals. While the collection may not capture every region or aspect of the country, it strongly reflects the passion, creativity, and perseverance of Binh Thuan’s photography artists, especially amid the challenges of the digital era.

The exhibition not only honors the memory and legacy of President Ho Chi Minh but also presents a vivid, heartfelt panorama of a modern Vietnam — resilient, evolving, and deeply connected to its cultural roots.
