With hopes of creating a good impression on local people and tourists, and making the Mid-Autumn Festival become a true festival for children, this festival is a creative challenge for artisans, especially children. While the lanterns and models would be created, they would integrate some meaning or stories such as praising the Party and beloved Uncle Ho, typical images of Phan Thiet’s hometown, and city tourism promotion in many fields such as Aquaculture, Agriculture, Environment, etc.
The 2024 Mid-Autumn Festival will officially begin at 6:00 p.m. on September 16th, 2024 (the 14th August lunar calendar), at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, with the participation of 18 wards, communes, and students from many primary and secondary schools in Phan Thiet City.
There will be a 2.4 km route, starting from Nguyen Tat Thanh Square - Ton Duc Thang - Thu Khoa Huan - Tran Hung Dao and finishing at Le Duan roundabout. “This is a reasonable route since the average distance, wide roads, and sidewalks for the parade and people to enjoy.” shared the Organizing Committee
