Famtrip Program to Survey Tourism in Binh Thuan – Lam Dong – Dak Nong
The three provinces will launch a cultural and culinary tour connecting Binh Thuan, Lam Dong, and Dak Nong. Additionally, there will be strengthened cooperation with Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces in the South Central Coast and Central Highlands regions to create attractive inter-provincial tours. The program includes surveying and developing diverse, new interlinked tourism products and tours. These products will be introduced and promoted to travel agencies and media outlets. The Provincial People’s Committee has assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to lead and coordinate with the equivalent departments of Lam Dong and Dak Nong, the Department of Construction, the Tourism Association, and tourism enterprises to implement the plan. The program is scheduled to run from June 2 to June 6, 2025.
This event aims to mobilize participation from all levels of government, sectors, and tourism service providers to effectively implement the 2025 Tourism Stimulus Program. It aims to boost the number of visitors and tourism revenue, striving to attract over 11 million visitors to Binh Thuan in 2025. This growth will be linked with the development of commercial services and the stimulation of domestic goods consumption, especially locally-produced goods. The program will enhance tourist experiences through rich, diverse, and high-quality tourism activities. Furthermore, it will strengthen and diversify tourism promotion efforts to showcase the province’s scenic spots, friendly locals, and appealing tourism image.

As part of this initiative, the program will focus on developing local tourism products based on each area’s tourism strengths and potential. There will be a push for tourism products linked to agriculture and rural landscapes, and community culture, enhancing the tourist experience. Rural tourism will be promoted by leveraging local agriculture, rural crafts, and services, creating “satellite destinations” that complement major tourist hubs and expand the tourism footprint to rural areas. Each locality will announce at least one new, attractive tourism product unique to its strengths.
The program will also effectively implement the night-time economy development plan, particularly in Mui Ne and Tien Thanh, to boost consumption, shopping, and tourism. Emphasis will be placed on developing emerging tourism types such as "wellness tourism", "MICE tourism" (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), "high-end marine sports tourism", "agro-tourism", "eco-tourism", and "cultural-festival tourism".
Plans are in place to build an "eco-agricultural tourism model" that integrates forest-based wellness tourism in Binh Thuan. This will contribute to the province’s roadmap for diversifying tourism offerings through 2025, with a vision to 2030.

Creating Safe and High-Quality Destinations
Binh Thuan, Lam Dong, and Dak Nong are now focusing on green growth in tourism, environmental protection, local cultural preservation, and benefits for local communities. They aim to explore new international markets alongside traditional ones. Businesses are encouraged to digitize their tourism products, enhance customer interaction, and keep up with traveler preferences to tailor their strategies accordingly. Business models will be innovated, and tourism companies will undergo digital transformation to improve competitiveness and market reach.
Efforts will also be made to restructure tourism products to attract a diverse customer base, particularly high-spending, long-stay visitors. Investment in large-scale amusement parks and themed attractions is also encouraged.
Tourism management will be improved to ensure environmental standards, public safety, and traveler rights. Local authorities will invest in environmental protection and effective management of tourist sites. Cleanup campaigns will be organized at tourist attractions and public areas. Service quality at accommodations, restaurants, and tourism sites will be regularly inspected and monitored. Authorities will promptly address issues such as environmental degradation, street vending, beach encroachment, and tourist harassment, which negatively impact the image and civility of community tourism sites.
Efforts will also focus on "ensuring order, food safety, emergency response" at beaches and tourist areas, maintaining the image of Binh Thuan as a destination that is “Safe, Friendly, Attractive, and High-Quality” for visitors.
