This ranking is based on search and booking data, as well as registrations for destination experiences by travelers during the period from January 24 to February 9, 2025 (equivalent to the 25th day of the 12th lunar month of 2024 to the 12th day of the 1st lunar month of 2025). Specifically, the 10 most-searched domestic destinations for the upcoming holiday include: Da Lat (Lam Dong), Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa), Phu Quoc (Kien Giang), Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau (Ba Ria - Vung Tau), Ha Noi, Mui Ne (Binh Thuan), Hoi An (Quang Nam), and Sa Pa (Lao Cai).
According to a representative from Booking.com in Vietnam, the rankings reflect a trend among Vietnamese travelers to revisit familiar destinations while also exploring new ones. Notably, during last year’s Lunar New Year, Booking.com also announced a list of the 10 most popular destinations chosen by Vietnamese travelers for their Tet celebrations. The rankings were based on search and booking data from February 8–14, 2024 (from the 29th day of the 12th lunar month to the 5th day of the Lunar New Year). Mui Ne was also included in that list alongside Da Lat, Nha Trang, Da Nang, Vung Tau, Phu Quoc, Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Noi, Sa Pa, and Hoi An.
