During Tet holiday, tourism activities in Binh Thuan were vibrant and showed strong growth. From January 29 to February 1 (the 1st to the 4th day of Tet), the number of visitors increased daily, with a significant surge on the 3rd day of Tet. The average hotel occupancy rate in Binh Thuan ranged from 75% to 85%, while 3- to 5-star accommodations in Phan Thiet exceeded 90% occupancy before, during, and after the holiday.
This year, tourists preferred high-end, beachfront accommodations to celebrate Tet in a group setting with friends and family. In addition to numerous cultural, sports, and tourism events celebrating the Lunar New Year, Phan Thiet - Binh Thuan also offered various entertainment activities organized by resorts, hotels, and tourist areas. These included banh chung festivals, traditional Tet markets, culinary night parties, folk games, Tet playgrounds, lion and dragon dance performances, and New Year’s Eve celebrations for guests at hotels and resorts.
