Provincial Party Secretary Duong Van An visited Ham Phu Commune Health Station
Secretary An has visited several medical stations across the province, namely Ham Phu Commune Health Station, Ma Lam Town Health Station in Ham Thuan Bac District; Tien Loi Commune Medical Station, and Tien Thanh Commune Medical Station.
Secretary Duong Van An acknowledged the efforts and highly appreciated the results the health stations achieved in taking care of people's health, affirming that the Party and State always pay attention to developing the health sector; especially investing in building the health system and preventive health work at grassroots level. Meanwhile, he mentioned that good implementation of "prevention is better than cure" will contribute to improving the quality of health care for people, reducing medical examination and treatment pressure on higher-level medical facilities.
In the coming time, the provincial leaders will work with the Department of Health to promptly resolve difficulties related to the grassroots health system as well as find solutions to improving human resource capacity and the quality of operations of medical stations.

On the occasion of Vietnamese Doctor's Day, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Secretary Duong Van An wished the doctors, nurses, and medical staff good health, good professional expertise, and medical ethics. At the same time, he expressed his wish that doctors, nurses, and medical staff always promote the spirit of responsibility, solidarity, and efforts to overcome difficulties, and regularly study and research to improve their qualifications and professional expertise.
