Program to encourage students to barter plastic waste for learning tools

BTO - On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 23, 1931- 2021) and to respond to the campaign “Make the world greener – cleaner”, a program to barter plastic waste for learning tools was jointly held by the Youth communist of the provincial Department of Public Security and Tan Duc commune.

Coming to the program, students of Tan Duc 2 primary school brought their household plastic wastes to exchange for school utensils such as notebooks, rulers, pencils, pens, etc. Besides, the program has been integrated with propaganda on road traffic Law so that all students can acquire the law. The program also kick-started the launch of Green Sunday with a series of activities to protect the environment surrounding the areas.

Such meaningful activities aim to join hands in protecting the environment, making the world green, clean and nice. It also promotes dissemination to encourage students and the locals not to litter pell-mell garbage, gradually forming a civilized and responsible lifestyle for the environment.
