Vietnam’s teen band Soul Club founded by music composer Thanh Bui has won gold prize at the 4th Asia Arts Festival in Singapore.

The band performed Vietnamese and English-language songs, including Hello Vietnam composed by Marc Lavoine, Con Co (Stork) by musician Luu Ha An and La La La by Naughty Boy and Sam Smith.

The Soul Club from Ho Chi Minh city includes six female and male members, all of whom play different instruments, including piano.

This year’s annual Asia Arts Festival drew more than 500 participants of all ages from 14 countries in Asia including China, the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia who showcased their skills in different genres of performing arts.

The Vietnam young artists took this opportunity to introduce the image of a dynamic and creative nation and connect young Vietnamese generations to the world through music and arts, said the club manager Thanh Bui.
