This is also an opportunity to promote the local image, as well as to enhance cooperation, attract investment, promote trade, tourism, and implement development strategies, expand the consumer market, increase the value of products, and boost exports in the new situation.
Accordingly, the Department of Industry and Trade of Binh Thuan has proposed that relevant departments, units, associations, and industry associations coordinate to provide information to businesses to research and register to participate in the Trade Promotion Delegation in Laos.
Binh Thuan has many agricultural and aquatic products associated with the potential and advantages of the locality (Illustrative image).
Under the program, the Binh Thuan delegation will have a working session with the Embassy, the Vietnam Trade Office in Laos, the leadership of the capital city of Vientiane, Laotian businesses and associations, and Vietnamese businesses in Laos. In addition, surveys will be conducted at some commercial centers, supermarkets, wholesale markets in the capital city of Vientiane and surrounding areas to understand market price information, demand, and consumer preferences of Laotian people. This will help find appropriate and effective export solutions.
It is known that the Trade Promotion Delegation in Laos’s provinces is expected to have around 8-10 agencies, organizations, and businesses directly participating in various sectors, with a focus on agriculture, aquaculture, food, consumer goods, textiles, footwear, and leather industries.
