Binh Thuan: 7 OCOP 4-star products recognized and re-recognized

Accordingly, 4 products were recognized as OCOP 4-star in the first batch, including: Traditional fish sauce made from anchovies Thuan Hung with 60 degrees of protein and fish sauce made from anchovies Thuan Hung with 35 degrees of protein - belonging to the seasoning group, produced by Thuan Hung Fish Sauce Production Co., Ltd. Brown rice Duc Lan ST25 and Duc Lan ST25 rice belong to the unprocessed and semi-processed food group, produced by Duc Binh Agricultural Service Cooperative.

Red-fleshed dragon fruit and white-fleshed dragon fruit from Ham Minh 30 Dragon Fruit Production Service Cooperative.

3 products were recognized as OCOP 4-star in the second batch, including: red flesh dragon fruit and white flesh dragon fruit - produced by Ham Minh 30 Dragon Fruit Production Service Cooperative, belonging to the fresh food group. The premium pure fish sauce made from anchovies with 32 degrees of protein - Hoang Gia brand of Van Xuan FMCG Investment Co., Ltd., Binh Thuan Branch, belonging to the seasoning group.

Products that achieve the OCOP 4-star certification will be allowed to use the certification brand on their product packaging according to regulations, with a validity period of 36 months from January 13, 2025.

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development will advise the provincial People's Committee to organize the announcement of results and hand over certificates to the recognized products. At the same time, it will guide localities and producers on how to use and print the OCOP 4-star certification brand according to regulations. Additionally, the Department will cooperate with related  departments and the People's Committees of localities to conduct annual inspections of these products and propose handling if any entities violate the regulations on managing and using the OCOP certification brand and other legal provisions.
