Nearly 100 infants in Binh Thuan get free screening for musculoskeletal abnormalities and burn scars

BTO- The provincial Children Sponsor Fund in partnership with Children Action Foundation and Phan Thiet Hospital on October 24 to 25, 2016  provided free-of-charge screening for musculoskeletal abnormalities and burn scars for nearly 100 infants and children under 17 in Binh Thuan.

Swiss Orthopedist Michel Dutoit from Orthopedic Hospital in Lausanne (Switzerland) and Plastic Surgeon Jean Claude Castede from Michelet Chu de Bordeaux (France) gave free examinations to children with musculoskeletal abnormalities (congenital and injuries due to accidents), kyphoscoliosis, sequelae of burns. Those who need surgeries or other support will be listed for free surgeries and treatment provided by Children Action Foundation at hospitals in Ho Chi Minh city (Pediatrics Hospital 2, Traumatology and Orthopedics Hospital) and Quy Nhon Orthopedics and Rehabilitation Hospital –Binh Dinh province.
