The delegation included Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh- standing deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of the provincial People’s Council, Mrs. Bo Thi Xuan Linh-chairwoman of the provincial Committee for Vietnam Fatherland Front, and Mr. Dang Hong Sy-deputy head of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization.
At the visiting place, Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh presented flowers and gifts to Bishop Joseph Do Manh Hung with warm compliments. He wished Catholic priests, dignitaries and monks good health to celebrate a happy and cosy Christmas season. He also introduced some highlights of the country’s socioeconomic achievements in 2020, saying that Phan Thiet Diocese and the whole Catholic followers had made considerable contribution to socioeconomic development of Binh Thuan province in particular and the whole nation in general.

Bishop Joseph Do Manh Hung expressed his thankfulness to the central leader for visiting and gifting. He confirmed that Phan Thiet Diocese would continue encourage Catholic followers in Phan Thiet to promote their roles in the implementation of the Party’s guidelines, the State’s policies and laws, actively engage in patriotic movements, as well as well perform the prevention of Covid-19 pandemic, contributing to building the nation and homeland wealthier and stronger.
