Physicians from HCMC offer free diagnoses, treatment to 500 elderly in Binh Thuan

BTO – A group of physicians from Ho Chi Minh city in partnership with Binh Thuan provincial Red Cross joined a charity event to offer free health checks, treatment as well as allocate medicine and donate gifts to around 300 elderly in Ham Kiem and Ham My communes (Ham Thuan Nam district) and 200 elderly in Phuoc The commune (Tuy Phong district) on July 9th morning.

The elderly patients received measurements of ECG, blood glucose meter, ultrasound, acupuncture, etc. which help detect and treat the disadvantaged elderly’s illness as soon as possible.

Of 500 elderly participants, 400 elders with specially difficult circumstances were granted gifts, worth VND 100 thousand each at the event. The total cost for this charity activity is amounted to VND 100 million plus, donated by non-profit Tam Phuc physician association in Ho Chi Minh city and other philanthropists.
