More investments earmarked for medical facilities

Of the total, The provincial Hospital of Lungs, which is a second-class hospital, specializes in delivering medical treatment for patients with Lung problems and Covid-19 patients. The hospital has a scale of 110 beds with 4 rooms and 8 medical examination and treatment faculties, namely: medical examination, rehabilitation, physiotherapy, imaging department, functional exploration department, and acute resuscitation departments.

To constantly improve the quality of medical examination and treatment for all people, the hospital has so far promoted administrative procedure reforms, reducing inconveniences and shortening waiting time for in-patients and out-patients. Realizing the deteriorated status due to long-time construction, the Provincial People’s Committee has lately approved of upgrading the Lung hospital with a total investment of VND 3,000 million. 

In the meantime, the Binh Thuan Dermatology Hospital has granted an investment project to purchase new equipment for medical examination and treatment, specifically purchasing a Ruby Laser system and a system of treatment equipment, body skin with UV rays. The project has a total investment of 3,970 million VND, from the lottery capital within an implementation period of 3 years. Once completed, the two above-said projects will improve the working conditions of officials and employees. At the same time, they can better serve the diagnosis, examination, and treatment of patients, especially patients contracted with Covid-19, at the Lung Hospital of Binh Thuan province.
