Binh Thuan’s leaders greet the delegation of the Embassy of Denmark

On the arrival to Binh Thuan province, the delegation of the Embassy of Denmark gave a brief introduction to the country of Denmark. It is reportedly a very developed country in terms of renewable energy, including offshore wind power. Moreover, there are many experienced and capable enterprises that are currently investing in this field.

On this visit trip to Binh Thuan, the delegation of the Embassy of Denmark wished to explore investment opportunities in the field of renewable energy whilst cooperating and supporting Binh Thuan province in selecting investors and training human resources in the field of offshore wind power.

With respect to the host province, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai confirmed that energy development is a key economic sector of Binh Thuan province. Which, the province is currently prioritizing the development of offshore wind power because the onshore land fund is earmarked for developing other economic sectors. Notably, Binh Thuan is a locality with great potential for offshore wind power development due to its high wind speed, long coastline, and shallow sea-level depth;

Subsequently, in the coming time, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee wishes that the delegation of the Danish Embassy would introduce Danish investors with experience and capacity in the field of offshore wind power to invest in Vietnam. Binh Thuan Province.
