Nearly 4 million tourists visited Binh Thuan in the first 9 months

BTO – Statistics released that Binh Thuan tourism has welcomed about 3,971,500 turns of visitors in the first 9 months of 2022, a year-on-year increase of 2.27 times (including about 51,000 turns of international tourists, up 2,44 times compared to the same period last year).

Over the past 9 months, the local tourism activities have realized a recovery after the Covid-19 epidemic, contributing to the economic growth of the locality. The tourist arrivals to Binh Thuan have sharply increased year-on-year as many hotels, restaurants and retail chains keep busy during the peak seasons of national holidays and summer vacation, according to the Binh Thuan Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

In addition, Binh Thuan has also hosted a number of national tournaments, festivals, and contests in the past time, luring a great number of tourists domestically and internationally. Thanks to such bustling tourism activities, the province’s tourism revenues posted about VND 9,200 billion, up 2.3 times compared to the same period of 2021.
