Accordingly, the competition is chaired by the provincial People’s Committee, is funded by Novaland Group, and is given expert advice by the Foreign Services Center (FSC). All Vietnamese organizations and individuals aged 18 years old and above can take competition for the development of the community. Members and family members of the organizers, the Jury board, as well as the program organization units, can not partake in the competition.
The contest aims to search for feasible ideas, and initiatives to bring Phan Thiet city a world’s leading MICE and wellness tourist city.
The global tourism competition of “Vietnam’s aspiration: Bringing Phan Thiet to be world’s leading MICE and Wellness destination by 2045” is officially announced in September 2022. All entries can be applied and admitted from September 2022 until June 2023 (via the website http://phanthietmicewellness.c...). The result of the preliminary round is expected to announce in July 2023, and the ceremony of the final round will be held in September 2023.
It is known that the contest has a total of 40 prizes for contestants in 2 groups of topics. The former is to make Phan Thiet the world's leading MICE tourist destination in 2045 (group 1) and the latter is to make Phan Thiet become the world's leading Wellness tourism destination by 2045 (group 2).
Hence, each topic group will have 20 prizes, including 1 special prize worth VND 1 billion, 1 first prize worth VND700 million, a 1-second prize worth VND500 million, 1 best idea prize for advertising communication, effective promotion, worth VND230 million, 1 best idea award for creativity and feasibility worths VND230 million, 1 best idea award for efficiency and sustainable development worths VND230 million and 14 valuable consolation prizes worth each VND23 million.
Besides, contestants also have the opportunity to receive a lucky prize to own vacation at NovaWorld Phan Thiet, under the prize structure that all participants registering on the website: phanthietmicewellness.com are eligible to enter a sweepstake. The competition candidates need to come up with breakthrough, feasible ideas and solutions to help Phan Thiet become the world's leading MICE and Wellness tourist city. In addition, they can choose the topic of MICE or Wellness tourism, or both, but must separate them into 2 entries for each topic. Moreover, the entries must clearly state the contest topic and use either the Vietnamese language or the English language (bilingual Vietnamese and English is recommended).
The event’s first priority is to select excellent and feasible ideas and initiatives from organizations and individuals around the world for development planning, turning Phan Thiet into a combined tourism destination, conferences, seminars, exhibitions, events, rewards (MICE travel), and tourism combined with health care (Wellness tourism). At the same time, the competition also helps strengthen the advertisement and promotion of Phan Thiet - Binh Thuan - Vietnam and NovaWorld Phan Thiet, a super city of the sea - tourism – health. Such a shape-forming city is equipped with the leading facilities that meet MICE and Wellness tourism standards, creating a bright new and creative destination in the world in the 21st century.
The province’s organization of the contest "Vietnam’s aspiration: Bringing Phan Thiet to be world’s leading MICE and Wellness destination by 2045” also strongly arouses Vietnamese aspirations following the goals set out by The 13th National Congress of the Party. It also helps build the Vietnamese tourism brand to be a global brand name. Likewise, the event can strongly activate Phan Thiet - Binh Thuan tourism, contributing to the development strategy and a vision towards 2045 that can turn Vietnam into a developed country.
