This charity activity is part of a program entitled “Connecting the community-overcoming challenges” launched by Vietnam Red Cross Society (VRC)’s central committee, with the purpose of assisting disadvantaged people who are affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and frontline forces in the fight against the pandemic.Those meaningful gifts were donated by enterprises and sponsors in Binh Thuan.

Dragon fruit is one of the most popular fruits that are recommended by physicians for a healthy diet during the Covid-19 pandemic. According to Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhan-vice chairwoman of Binh Thuan Red Cross Society, this nutritious fruit is very familiar to people in Binh Thuan, so it is not their favorite fruit. But it is really useful for people in Covid-19-hit localities.
