Essential goods added in serve for La Gi people

BTO- In the face of complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic in La Gi Town, the Department of Industry and Trade has just asked the local government and related units to continue increasing their storage and sales capacity, ensuring the supply of wages such as food, essential food for the town. In addition, the district should ensure a long-term supply of essential goods at stable prices to avoid scarcity in the market to serve the people's life and production in all situations.

Accordingly, Co.opMart La Gi Supermarket is suggested to work with the Union of Trade Cooperatives of Ho Chi Minh City. HCM - Saigon Co.op increased the supply of essential goods stored at the unit, and coordinate with Co.opMart Phan Thiet to regulate supply in case of any shortage of goods. On the other hand, it also coordinates with the Town's People's Committee to survey and select locations to organize mobile sale-points to supplement essential goods for local people in need of goods.

Similarly, the branch of Bach Hoa Xanh Trading Joint Stock Company in Binh Thuan shall work with Bach Hoa Xanh Trading Joint Stock Company to raise the supply of its goods and increase the volume of essential goods in stockpile at 5 stores of Bach Hoa Xanh in La Gi. The next step is to coordinate with local authorities to survey and select locations to organize new sales points (operating for many days fixed) to provide additional essential goods for the people, especially in residential areas. there is high demand but there is no selling point for essential goods, there is a shortage of local goods.

The Department of Industry and Trade also suggested that business units strengthen and organize the sales solutions that have been deployed such as: Selling online by phone or the Zalo app. Whilst coordinating with the People's Committees of communes and wards, the Youth Union forces to implement the plan of "helping go to the market" to provide food to limit people from going out of their homes to buy goods directly at supermarkets and shops. In addition, the People's Committee of wards and communes will also coordinate with the people to distribute vouchers to go to supermarkets and shops every 2-3 days when the locality implements this option.

Regarding the La Gi district, recently, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee have also been directed to strongly strengthen social distancing measures in the whole town Under the Prime Minister’s Directive No.16 until the end of August 11, 2021. In which, the Department of Industry and Trade is assigned to direct distribution systems and businesses to stabilize the market to continue to increase their storage and sales capacity, to ensure the supply of essential goods and food for people in the area.
