7 consecutive days, no new covid-19 cases reported in Binh Thuan

BTO – As of now (July 6th), Binh Thuan province has not reported any new cases of Covid-19 infection in the community for 7 consecutive days, according to the Department of Health.

The health sector has made 1,039 Covid-19 tested with negative results on Tuesday (July 6th), 89 new cases of concentrated isolated at medical facilities and 628 cases of self-isolation at home, raising to 1,243 and 5,639 respectively altogether. 

To prevent the risk of an epidemic outbreaks coming from outside provinces, the provincial People’s Committee decided to establish two inter-sectoral checkpoints on National Highway 1A in the bordering areas of Ninh Thuan and Dong Nai provinces.

Based on the real situation, the provincial People’s Committee requires the districts of Ham Tan, Duc Linh, Tanh Linh, Ham Thuan Bac, Bac Binh, Tuy Phong and La Gi town to set up their Covid-19 quarantine checkpoints to control and prevent all people and vehicles from other localities entering to the province.
