This positive outcome is attributed to the vibrant tourism activities during the last month of summer 2024 in the province, along with convenient transportation contributing to attracting a large number of visitors to Binh Thuan for relaxation, sightseeing, and entertainment throughout the week. Additionally, many attractive events were organized during the month, such as the Rainbow Summer Fest music festival, the Goodbye Summer water-splashing festival, the Bikini Run Phan Thiet 2024, and the Miss Grand Vietnam finals.
The destination of Binh Thuan continues to welcome and serve a high volume of visitors in recent times.
From the beginning of 2024 until now, Binh Thuan tourism has welcomed over 6.4 million visitors, an increase of 6.58% compared to the same period last year (with approximately 250,400 visitors served in a single day, nearly doubling the same period last year). Specifically, regarding international visitors, the province is estimated to have welcomed 263,300 international visitors in the past 8 months, an increase of nearly 53% compared to the same period last year, primarily from countries such as South Korea, China, Russia, Germany, the UK, and the USA.
With an additional revenue of over 2.25 trillion VND in August, the revenue from tourism activities in Binh Thuan is estimated to reach 16.287.5 trillion VND from the beginning of 2024 until now, an increase of nearly 5% compared to the same period last year.
