BTO - The Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Binh Thuan has recently urged the relevant departments of localities, the Management Board of tourist areas and sites, and tourism businesses in the province to implement several measures to effectively serve tourists visiting for the National Day holiday on September 2nd.

Specifically, the Departments of Culture and Information in districts, towns, and cities need to promote advising local authorities to enhance tourism management in the area. This includes focusing on implementing civilized living standards, cultural behavior towards tourists, and launching campaigns to clean up waste, maintain environmental hygiene, and improve the landscape along the roads leading to tourist attractions. Additionally, they should coordinate with various departments to check prices, environmental hygiene, food safety, public security, traffic safety, and fire prevention in tourism business activities in the locality. It is important to remind businesses and households to maintain stable prices, ensure proper price listing and sales, especially for hotel room rates, food services, and fresh seafood prices, while ensuring service quality for tourists.

For the Management Board of tourist areas and sites, they are asked to manage and coordinate with relevant authorities to ensure a clean tourism environment, maintain stable prices, food safety, public hygiene, environmental aesthetics, and fire prevention at tourist sites. Additionally, they should organize traffic flow and arrange parking lots at tourist attractions to ensure order, as well as effectively manage and control street vendors, children renting sand sleds, etc., to prevent situations of overcharging, scams, harassment, or disturbances to tourists. At the same time, they should review and install signs, regulations, and guidance for tourists at attractions and adventure tourism sites (if any), and enhance rescue operations at coastal bathing areas.

Furthermore, regular cleaning and waste collection should be organized to contribute to maintaining a clean and civilized environment at picnic sites and community tourism locations.

During this year’s September 2nd holiday, tourism businesses in the province are also requested to arrange sufficient personnel and necessary conditions to effectively serve tourists and strictly adhere to regulations regarding environmental hygiene, food safety, and pricing. Additionally, measures should be taken to enhance security and safety, prevent theft, and ensure fire safety for tourists during their stay at the facilities.

Attention should be paid to implementing rescue operations at coastal bathing areas and swimming pools, equipping adequate rescue equipment, installing signs, flags, buoys, and ensuring that there are always lifeguards on duty. Moreover, it is essential to check and remind staff to maximize their civilized and courteous service approach while building a friendly and hospitable image. This aims to ensure service quality and prevent unfortunate incidents that could negatively impact the image of the business and the overall brand of Binh Thuan tourism during the service to tourists.

In the event of incidents, accidents, or issues related to tourists during tourism activities, businesses and establishments must immediately notify the relevant authorities to coordinate effectively and handle all situations promptly.
