In the first 6 months of 2024, tourism activities in the province have many highlights in all aspects. The Provincial People's Committee approved projects on diversifying types of tourism products, and night-time economy; and established and zoning plans for tourist constructions in districts, towns, and cities. In addition, the province has promoted investing in the double-decker bus model; the operation of 4-wheel electric vehicles, and developing more diverse and rich tourism such as water parks, dinosaur parks, Ocop products, and Hon Cau eco-tourism. Particularly, tourism promotion and advertisement are the opening of Korean tourist markets. In 6 months, the whole province welcomed nearly 4,600 thousand visitors, and revenue from tourism activities was more than 11,832 billion VND, an increase of 4.31% over the same period last year.

At the conference, the steering committee members analyzed the advantages as well as challenges therefore in the last months of 2024 the province can achieve the plan of welcoming 9.55 million visitors, with revenue of VND 25,500 billion. At the same time, they recommended investing in public restrooms, building typical products, reviewing the situation of vehicles in Bau Trang, providing electricity and fees for tourism businesses, being flexible in connecting trade and tourism promotion as well as coordinating with neighbouring provinces and cities, continuing to remove obstacles for tourism projects, attracting large tourism investors.
Regarding the 30th Binh Thuan Tourism Day organisation (October 24, 1995 - October 24, 2025), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that it had submitted a report and draft plan on events series and following activities.

At the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh said that the whole province is making an effort to achieve the number of visitors and revenue goals in 2024. This is also a result that exceeds the Resolution 06 plan for 2025. To prepare for 2025, from now until the end of the year, relevant departments and branches need to focus on implementing unaccomplished work. Specifically, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will proactively coordinate with local related sectors and units to effectively implement the plan to execute Resolution 06 on tourism development to 2025, with a vision to 2030; diversify provincial tourism products' types; the Master Plan for Mui Ne National Tourism Area construction (vision from 2040 to 2050) is approved... Particularly for the promotion of the Korean market, the Department must have a plan to implement the following tasks to apply in practice to bring about effectiveness. Agencies and localities that are members of the Steering Committee must perform well such tasks as reviewing and removing difficulties and obstacles in tourism projects based on their functions and tasks, speeding up the progress of granting construction permits for projects; urgently promoting the construction of embankments in the Ham Tien - Mui Ne area; and advertising the image of Binh Thuan tourism as "Safe, Friendly, Attractive"...
