Included partly in a series of Visit Vietnam Year 2023 events, the week's activities are organized towards introducing the potential and advantages of local tourism to tourists domestically and internationally. The activities also help contribute to and promote the province’s tourism development as well as strongly attract tourists and investors from all over the world to the southernmost coastal land of Central Vietnam.
Under the plan, the week comprises the opening ceremony of Golden Week of Binh Thuan Tourism 2023 and the anniversary ceremony of the 28th year of Binh Thuan Tourism Day, themed “Binh Thuan colors shine” which is expected to take place on October 21st night in Phan Thiet City. On the next days from October 21st to 24th, 2023, a variety of activities in terms of weeks of fish sauce, dragon fruit, OCOP products Travel Fairs, etc are organized.
Remarkably, the event is highlighted with a number of activities, such as a contest that uses dragon fruit to recreate the history of Phan Thiet fish sauce, discovering the origin and process of making a typical fish sauce of Phan Thiet - Binh Thuan, and a Talk show "Phan Thiet fish sauce – a journey of 300 years", and so forth.
