Accordingly, the railway industry will add more SPT4 trains (departing from Ho Chi Minh City on April 30th, 2022, and May 1st, 2022) and SPT3 trains (departing Phan Thiet on May 2 and 3, 2022). Especially, during the holidays, the railway industry still maintains the policy of reducing return ticket prices from 5% to 10% and giving discounts to social policy beneficiaries such as Vietnamese heroic mothers, wounded soldiers, the elderly, pupils, students, etc.
Due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, recently, the number of passengers has decreased, so the pair of SPT1 and SPT2 trains from Ho Chi Minh City to Phan Thiet City and vice versa have been reduced (The pair only runs for 3 days a week on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays). As summer approaches, the number of passengers traveling by train has gradually increased, and the railway industry will make appropriate adjustments to meet the travel needs of people as well as tourists in the coming time.
