Runway No. 2 of Phan Thiet Airport to be built

BTO- The provincial people’s Committee of Binh Thuan province lately proposed Ministry of National Defence to supplement nearly 200 hectares of land for an additional runway of Phan Thiet Airport.

At the same time, the province’s authority also proposed a supplementary fund of about VND 386 billion added to the total investment capital of the the military area and joint military/civil area in order to implement site clearance and compensation.

The proposal of building thr runway No.2 for Phan Thiet Airport aims to ensure security, safety and smooth operation of the 4E-level airport of Phan Thiet

With the purpose of upgraging the airport to receive all kinds of airplanes, the supplementary runway, which has a total length of 3,050 meters, will be built in parralel with the approved one.
