During this see-off ceremony, La Gi town saw 193 citizens enlist in the military. The outstanding young individuals were assigned to 4 military units, including: Regiment 88, Division 302, Military Region 7 with 120 young people; Provincial Military Command with 25 young people; Provincial Police with 33 young people; Provincial Border Guard with 15 young people.

Amidst the solemn atmosphere of the new enlistee handover ceremony, recruit Nguyen Van Hung, representing the young people enlisting in the military, expressed his honor and pride in contributing his youth to the cause of protecting the country. In Phan Thiet City, the event was attended by Mr. Doan Anh Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Military Service Council. Among the 202 new recruits from the city in this round, 161 are fulfilling military service obligations, and 41 are joining the police force duties. The quality of enlisted citizens continues to be maintained and improved, with 30 young people having vocational college or university degrees, and 80 young people voluntarily enlisting. The new recruits have set off to fulfill their duties at Regiment 101, Special Forces, Provincial Military Command, Provincial Border Guard Command, Military School of Military Region 7, and various units of the People’s Police.

On behalf of the receiving unit, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Tao - Deputy Political Commissar of Training Center Regiment 101/Region 4 Navy, stated that the unit is fully prepared to welcome the new recruits, engage them in activities, and assign tasks according to regulations. He also affirmed that with the love and responsibility entrusted to them, the receiving unit will always care and create favorable conditions for the recruits to quickly integrate into the military environment, learn, train, and contribute.

Along with other localities in the province, on the morning of February 27th, the youth of Duc Linh district eagerly set off to fulfill their duty of protecting the Fatherland. Attending the conscription event and enlistment ceremony in Duc Linh district, Colonel Nguyen Anh Nghia - Chief of the Provincial Border Guard Command, Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Military Service Council, met with each young person, had conversations, encouraged them, presented flowers and gifts, and congratulated the young people of Duc Linh district for participating in military service and the People’s Police duties. Colonel Nguyen Anh Nghia, along with local party and government officials, urged the young people to continue to uphold the heroic traditions of their homeland, the passion of youth, the responsibility of the youth towards the Fatherland, strive and train in the military environment, maintain good unity, strict discipline, excellent training, and successfully fulfill the military tasks. The military always creates the best conditions for young people to learn, train, contribute, and mature.
Duc Linh district is a locality with a high conscription rate among the 10 districts in the province. In 2024, out of 160 young people enlisted, there were 3 official party members, 31 with vocational college or university degrees, nearly 80% in good health categories 1 and 2, and over 56% volunteered.

Regarding Tanh Linh district, out of the 161 young people enlisted in 2024, there was 1 female recruit, 4 official party members, 98 out of 161 in good health categories 1 and 2, over 90% aged between 18-21. In terms of education, there were over 82 high school graduates, 25 with vocational college or university degrees, and the rest with lower secondary education levels; 53 from ethnic minority groups; nearly 70% of the young people voluntarily enlisted. 39 young people joined the police force, all in good health categories 1 and 2, all graduated from high school, and over 75% volunteered. This year, Tanh Linh district assigned 70 recruits to Regiment 4, 60 to the National Shooting School Region 3, 30 to the Provincial Border Guard Command, 1 female recruit to the Military School of Military Region 7, and 39 to the People’s Police force.
In Bac Binh district, the leadership of the Provincial Military Command, Department of Justice, as well as local leaders, presented flowers to congratulate and encourage the new recruits as they set off to fulfill their sacred duty to the Fatherland. Mr. Mai Van Vu - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People’s Committee, Chairman of the District Military Service Council, expressed confidence in the passion of youth. The 193 new recruits are expected to continue the revolutionary traditions of the homeland, actively study, train, and overcome difficulties. He also expressed his desire for the new soldiers to strictly follow military regulations, discipline, strive in their studies, surpass themselves to complete all assigned tasks, and live up to the guidance of President Ho Chi Minh: “Complete every task, overcome every difficulty, defeat every enemy.”
During the enlistment ceremony, the new recruits from Bac Binh district clearly showed their determination and excitement as they crossed the Vinh Quang bridge to join their units and carry out the sacred duty of youth towards the Fatherland.
In 2024, Binh Thuan selected and called up 1,751 citizens (including 4 females) to join the Military and participate in the People’s Police, an increase of 114 citizens compared to 2023. Specifically, 1,403 citizens (including 3 females) were called up to the Military, with 11 recruitment units, units under the Ministry of National Defense receiving 845 recruits, and units under Military Region 7 receiving 558 recruits. According to the quick report of the Provincial Military Service Council, Binh Thuan successfully fulfilled the conscription at all 3 levels. Among the conscripts, 751 citizens voluntarily applied for conscription; 189 graduated from colleges, universities, and 492 graduated from high school; 29 official party members, doubling the target; 169 young people from ethnic minority groups, and 815 young people submitted voluntary applications.
