BTO – As many as 2,000 visitors have visited the Ta Cu Mountain Tourist area on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2023, an increase of 10% over the same period last year. Located in Ham Thuan Nam district and far from the Phan Thiet 28 km to the south, Ta Cu Mountain is a scenic spot and an attractive climbing point, an attractive spiritual eco-tourism destination for tourists near and far.

In the early days of the Tet holiday of 2023, tens of thousands of tourists from near and far make pilgrimages to the Buddha at Ta Cu Mountain Pagoda. Thanks to the poetic and lyrical road leading to the mountain-top, the whole space of Ta Cu is like wearing a green shirt of green forests. Many flowers race to show off their colors, making all passersby can't help being moved.

The average temperature on the mountain always remains between 18°C and 22°C, although the weather at the foot of the hill can be as high as 40°C. Previously, it used to take visitors 2 hours to cross 2,300 m of the slope, equivalent to about 2,000 stone steps, to climb Ta Cu Mountain Pagoda. Now, thanks to the cable car system, it only takes us about 6 minutes to go up the mountain. Not only saving time, visitors also have the opportunity to admire nearly half of Ta Cu Mountain and the forest from above. Sitting on the cable car, visitors can zoom out into the distance to admire the panoramic view of Thuan Nam town and dragon fruit gardens stretching as green as a vivid picture.

With an altitude of 649m above sea level, Ta Cu mountain is not only known as a climbing destination, but also a beautiful natural landscape, luring many visitors with its wild, magnificent scenery, and ecosystem.

Tourists worship Buddha on Ta Cu mountain

There are two famous pagodas on the mountain: Linh Son Truong Tho and Ong Doan. Both are located at an altitude of about 400m on Ta Cu mountain. Linh Son Truong Tho also has a familiar name, Ta Cu Mountain Pagoda, or the more rustic "Above" pagoda to distinguish it from the "Below" pagoda, which is Long Doan.

Both pagodas are collectively known as the Mountain Pagoda. Not only that, on the top of Ta Cu, there are many pristine natural scenes with giant trees of 4-5 people hugging, murmuring streams, and so on.

According to a survey conducted by the Forest Planning Institute, There are 178 animal species, 77 rare herbs on Ta Cu mountain.

Nguyen Tuan Mai - a pilgrim from Ho Chi Minh City shared that: This is the second time my family makes a pilgrimage to Ta Cu Mountain Pagoda. The pagoda has many new and modern buildings, but the landscape is still pristine, creating harmony between the temple and the mountain. The curved tile roofs bring serenity and peace. Therefore, next year I will definitely return to Ta Cu Nui Pagoda to worship Buddha and pray for a peaceful new year for my family and all things to be.

According to a representative of Ta Cu Mountain Tourism Joint Stock Company, from the 1st to the 7th day of the Lunar New Year, TTC World - Ta Cu welcomed over 22,000 visitors, an increase of 10% over the same period in 2022. Of these, 99% are domestic tourists. In recent years, in order to attract tourists, TTC World - Ta Cu has constantly invested in many items, increasing the planting of more trees, protecting the environment, especially keeping forests in Ta Cu Nature Reserve. Currently, in the large campus of Ta Cu cable car eco-tourism area, there are green trees covered with shade. Along the roads on the campus, there are many flowers blooming. Thanks to the focus on environmental landscapes, over the years of operation, TTC World-Ta Cu still retains the green color of the mountains and forests, creating sympathy for the visitors. In particular, many meaningful events have been held with new types of services and received positive feedback from visitors, such as wedding parties, New Year's buffets, Valentine's buffets, etc.
