Accordingly, the 5.1-km-long road would be upgraded with a 9-meter-wide surface and 4-meter-wide sidewalks. Its roadbed will be expanded to 17 meters covered with asphalt concrete.
Besides, there will be a rainwater drainage system, domestic wastewater, sidewalks, public lighting systems combined with decorative lighting, etc.
The total investment of the project is nearly VND190 million. The above investment capital is extracted from the provincial budget, which is used for the public investment plan. The project is expected to be constructed within 4 years, contributing to embellishing the traffic infrastructure of the Mui Ne National Tourist Area.
It is considered as the lifeline of the Mui Ne National Tourist Area that connects the heart of Phan Thiet city to Ham Tien – Mui Ne tourist area. Currently, this route sees a great number of vehicles, causing it degraded and often flooded in the rainy season. Otherwise, the road has no sidewalks, affecting traffic safety and the city’s beauty.
