Another point to consider is that the visitors’ demands for traveling are more and more increasing in the context of the digital era; therefore, pursuing to reach smart tourism in combination with eco-friendly models promises to push forwards the local tourism sector.
Additionally, the smart tourism model with professional and modern styles would more and more meet the renovation needs, contributing to raising the development capacity of Binh Thuan tourism to a sustainable and leading economic sector.
It is required to develop smart tourism on the basis of taking tourists as the center, attracting more and more international visitors to Vietnam as well as promoting the increase of domestic tourists, and mobilizing all resources in the society. The association participates in the creation and development of information and communication technology applications. In the meantime, it also ensures system security and safety, towards sustainable tourism development and makes sure that there is harmony between the local economic development, preservation of cultural identity, and environmental protection. Moreover, the application of advanced technology to develop platforms and applications to serve tourists, communities, businesses, and state management agencies in tourism.
Under the plan, the project will focus on a number of major tasks in terms of completing incentives, policies, and laws on smart tourism development; data system development, infrastructure for information technology; human resources, and so on.
