Binh Thuan authorities to remove tackles for Hoa Thang – Hoa Phu coastal project

As recorded in the master plan, the construction of Hoa Thang – Hoa Phu coastal project was approved by the PPC with the total planning area of 1,345.18 ha, belonging to the two districts of Bac Binh (523 ha) and Tuy Phong (831.18 ha).  

According to a report of the Department of Investment and Planning, as of August 10^th, 2018, the department has received 15 applications of registration to investing in Hoa Thang – Hoa Phu area, but they have not yet been considered due to some deficiencies.

After hearing the attendees’ opinions, Chairman Hai suggested the Department of Planning and Investment recheck and plan the land, seas, forest, and mineral area so that they can turn Hoa Thang – Hoa Phu coastal area into a sustainable tourism. At the same time, the arrangement of resettlement, social houses and residential area in serve of urban area development should be paid attention in the upcoming time.

The selection of investor for this project must fulfill the requirements on capacity, experience and investment determination. The selected-investor has to sign commitments on investment funds and proving their financial capability. On account of the province’s stand view, the locality keens on the targets of developing the project as a luxurious and high-grade tourism area in harmony with people’s benefits.

The Department of Construction is asked to collaborate with functional bodies to dispose land funds for industrial zone, traditional villages, and cultural institutions; and clarify the current status of lands owned by individual and the state.
