Vestige of Binh Thuan provincial Party Committee’s revolutionary base during the US resistance war inaugurated

The event had the attendance of Mr. Duong Van An- member of the Party Central Excecutive Committee-Secretary of the provincial Party Committee cum head of the Binh Thuan delegation of National Assembly deputies; Mr. Dinh Trung-former member of the Party Central Executice Committee-former Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Mr. Huynh Van Ti-former member of the Party Central Excecutive Committee-former Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung-former member of the Party Central Excecutive Committee-former Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and former chairman of the provincial People’s Council; Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh –altenate member of the Party Central Excecutive Committee- deputy Secretary of the provincial Party committee cum Chairman of the provincial People’s Council; Mrs. Bo Thi Xuan Linh-member of the Party Committee’s Standing Committee-Chairwoman of the provincial Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front; Mr. Phan Van Dang-member of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Committee’ along with former leaders of Binh Thuan province through many periods; representatives of families of 6 provincial Party secretaries during the US resistance war; representatives of departments/branches/agencies in the province, and representative leaders of Dong Giang commune…

project’s construction started in January, 2022 with a total investment cost of more than VND 127 billion. Addressing the ceremony, provincial Party Committee Secretary Duong Van An affirmed that the newly-inaugurated vestige of the provincial Party Committee’s revolutionary has been considered as a great pride of the province’s party members, cadres and people.The vestige is expected to promote the values of traditional patriotism and nurture the heroic revulutionary fighting spirit among the young people and the future generations. Mr. An urged the Party organizations and authorities at all levels, agencies and units in the province to carry out activities for cadres, party members and people from all walks of life to visit and learn more about the vestige, so that they can fell the difficult, arduous and heroic period during the anti-US resistance war; realize the values and meaning of peace, independence and freedom in life today. Since then, the descendants can continue traditions of their preceding generations and actively join in the cause of buiding and protecting Vietnam Fatherland, as well as developing their homeland in the new period.

An also asked the employees and officials of the vestige’s managing board to bring into play their roles and responsibilities for operating and promoting the effectiveness of the relic site to serve both for educating the revolutionary traditions among cadres and people, and turning the relic into an attractive tourist site for domestic and international visitors.

The vestige of the provincial Party Committee’s revolutionary base during the anti-US resistance war was recognized as a provincial-level relic in 2019.
