Vietnam Fatherland Front chairman visited and extended Christmas greetings to the Bishop's Palace of Phan Thiet Diocese

BTO – On December 16 morning, Mr. Do Vann Chien - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (CCVFF) visited and congratulated the Christmas season at the Bishop's Palace of Phan Thiet Diocese.

Attending the delegation, on the side of the provincial leaders, there were Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Bo Thi Xuan Linh - Member of the Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front; Nguyen Minh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of provincial departments, agencies and branches; permanent representative of the Council of Muslim Monks in Bani province; Standing Council of Provincial Brahmin Dignitaries.

The delegation visited and wished Christmas to the Bishop's Palace of Phan Thiet diocese

On the visit to the Bishop's Palace of Phan Thiet diocese, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien, on behalf of the leaders of the Party and State, congratulated and wished the local priests, religious and Catholic compatriots throughout the province a warm, peaceful, happy Christmas season and achieve many positive achievements.

Chairman of the CCVFF Do Van Chien acknowledged and highly appreciated the contribution of the Bishopric of Phan Thiet Diocese and the Catholic compatriots of Binh Thuan in charity activities, especially in the context of the last Covid-19 epidemic as well as actively participating in patriotic emulation campaigns and movements, contributing to the stability and development of the country.

Chairman Chien expected that the Bishop's Palace of Phan Thiet Diocese, together with the priests, religious and Catholic compatriots in the whole province continue to promote the achievements and perform well the campaigns and emulation movement, building great national unity block, living a good life - beautiful religion. In particular, they can actively participate in practical environmental protection activities.

Joseph Do Manh Hung - Bishop of Phan Thiet Diocese thanked for the affection and concern of the Chairman of CCVFF Do Van Chien and the province’s leaders, saying that he will continue to accompany the Party committee and authorities of Binh Thuan province to propagate and encourage parishioners to observe the guidelines of the Party, policies, and laws of the State. He affirmed that the parishioners would keep on building a block of great national unity, living a good life - beautiful religion, contributing to the development of the homeland and the country. In particular, the bishop continues to mobilize parishioners to protect the environment through practical actions such as planting trees, not dumping garbage and wastewater into the environment, and so forth.

On this occasion, on behalf of the leaders of the Party and State, the Chairman of the CCVFF Do Van Chien presented gifts and a basket of fresh flowers to wish Christmas to the Bishop's Palace of Phan Thiet Diocese and Bishop Joseph Do Manh Hung. In addition, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Vu Chien Thang, the Government Religious Affairs Committee, Ministry of Public Security also sent a bouquet of fresh flowers and Christmas gifts to the Bishop's Palace of Phan Thiet Diocese.
