Currently, the preparation to organize a trade promotion delegation in Laos chaired by the Department of Industry and Trade of Binh Thuan, coordinating with relevant departments and units is being deployed as planned. Taking place for 5 days from June 18 to 22 in the capital Vientiane, this activity is organized to promote trade in the Lao market in 2024 and the following years. This is also an opportunity to promote Binh Thuan's image- the southernmost coastal province in the Central region possessing many potentials and advantages of Vietnam. Thereby, the province strengthens exchange and cooperation to attract investment and promote trade and tourism, implements development strategies, expands consumption markets, improves product value, as well as promotes exports in the current new context.

According to the program, the delegation Binh Thuan's operation will work with the Embassy, the Vietnam Trade Office in Laos, leaders of the capital city of Vientiane, Lao businesses, and Vietnamese associations and businesses in Laos. The delegation also spent time surveying a number of commercial centers, supermarkets, and wholesale markets in the capital Vientiane, and surrounding areas to search for more information about market prices, consumer needs, and locals' tastes to plan reasonable and effective export solutions.
Preparing for this activity, the Department of Industry and Trade promptly advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue an official dispatch to the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos requesting coordination and support for the Binh Thuan Provincial Working Group to promote trade here. According to the function, the Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion (under the Department of Industry and Trade) is the contact point; The locality is connected with the Department of Trade Promotion, the Asia-Africa Market Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), the Vietnam Embassy, the Vietnam Trade Office, and the Vietnam Business Association in Laos, so far. Through suggestions, the province's functional departments said they agreed to follow the proposal of the Vietnam Trade Office to have a working session with the Department of Trade Promotion - Ministry of Industry and Trade of Laos with many participants, including Lao businesses for more comprehensive information.
Related to this activity, current documents (Vietnamese and English) promoting the local image to serve the delegation are also being actively prepared such as on investment promotion of Binh Thuan province, an overview of Binh Thuan province, and trade promotion activities.
