Binh Thuan holds its position as an attractive destination for domestic and international visitors

BTO – In a bid to become a national tourism hub by 2030, Binh Thuan tourism sector is striving for welcoming 6.3 million visitors with revenue of VND15,400 billion. Thanks for warm climate all year round, nice beaches, safe and friendly environment, the locality keeps its fame as an attractive destination for tourists inside and outside the country.

Binh Thuan tourism strives for a national tourist hub by 2030

Over the past 6 years, the tourism activity of Binh Thuan has posted many positive changes with an increasing number of visitors to the locality for sightseeing, relaxing, and exploring.

The total tourist arrivals to Binh Thuan hit nearly 3 million, a year-on-year increase of 12 percent. Revenues from that industry also showed an upbeat number with VND 7,400 billion, a year-on-year increase of 18%. Notably, the international visitors keep a sustainable level with more than 380,000 tourists, up 14 percent over that of the last year.

In addition, tourist services make it grow better and better, meeting a variety of tourists’ demands. The province is also pay attention to developing tourist forms of relaxation in combination with sea sports and cultural exploration.

Binh Thuan has a coastline of 192km, with various beautiful landscapes such as Mui Yen, Cau isle, Ke Ga lighthouse, Ganh Son, Gieng Tien, and the Hon Cau Marine Protected Area where hundreds of rare species live.

Tourism development in coordination with the fight against plastic waste

Almost all of tourist attractions throughout the province attach importance to civilized behavior rules, environmental protection, and security order to gradually set up a friendly and safe destination.

Many incentives to push forward the development of infrastructures, services and transport continue implementing and promoting in the remaining months of the year.

The local authorities have urged the travel businesses not to use single plastic bags in the upcoming time in order to reduce environmental pollution, contributing to protecting the  environment.
