At the meeting, Vice chairman Hai briefed the province’s potentials and strength for investment, stressing the Prime Minister’s planning for Mui Ne national tourist area in the near future.
Currently, Binh Thuan has 9 industrial parks, covering a total area of 3,048 ha and 23 industrial clusters. Those are under constructions and some are ready for operation. Additionally, the province owns a great fishing ground, with an estimate of output of over 200,000 tons a year with a diversified seafood species.
The North-south highway through Binh Thuan province is projected to be put in use in 2022, while the local Phan Thiet airport will have completed by 2022. Notably, the Vinh Tan international port can receive ship with a capacity of 70,000 DWT…
With the above-mentioned potentials, Vice chairman Hai expected to welcome many more Japanese investors to the locality in terms of agro-forestry and fishery processing, electric equipment assembling, high-tech agricultural application; education, transport, culture and tourism, etc.
In the meantime, Vice chairman Hai offered Chairman of Binh Thuan PPC’s invitation to Mr. Tsugumasa Muraoka – Governor of Yamaguchi province and relevant units to visit Binh Thuan.
