The value of industrial production continued to develop and was estimated at 20,435.33 billion VND, up to 3.51%; 8/16 major industrial production products increased over the same period in 2022. Agricultural production rise stably. Tourism continues to grow, the province is estimated to welcome 4.46 million visitors (up 86.4%), with revenue reaching 11,348 billion VND (up 1.5 times over the same period in 2022). Total retail sales of goods and services were estimated at VND 44,602 billion, up 32.24%. Total state budget revenue is estimated at VND 4,988 billion, reaching 49.85% of the yearly estimate; in domestic revenue is estimated at 4,665 billion VND, down 19.5%. Public investment has been strengthened directly, regularly urging, reviewing, and removing difficulties and obstacles and creating the most favorable conditions to promote the implementation progress and disbursement of public investment capital, especially crucial projects and works, etc

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Doan Anh Dung assessed that in the context of many difficulties, the province's socio-economic status in the past 6 months had achieved remarkable results.

At the same time, he pointed out some limitations which are the production and business activities of enterprises, and people still face many difficulties: namely: the decrease in provincial budget revenue, the difficulty of disbursing public investment capital, the failure to meet the requirements set out of ground clearance progress, especially for key works and projects of the province. The determination of specific land prices to fulfill financial obligations is slow, and the auction of land use rights has not been possible. The state management of mineral resources and land is still inadequate. The quality of medical examination and treatment is still limited in terms of facilities and medical equipment, etc.

Emphasizing that the remaining tasks until the end of 2023 are huge, in order to strive to complete the set tasks, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, agencies, branches, and localities to urgently and determinedly perform a number of tasks. Essential tasks are Reviewing socio-economic targets, budget estimates, and development investment in 2023 according to the Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee; Implementing drastic solutions to improve the business investment environment, determining to strive to achieve the highest set targets; Expeditiously completing the detailed distribution of public investment capital, accelerating public investment capital's disbursement in 2023. Well perform the state budget collection, especially paying attention to the large proportion of revenue; speeding up the approval of investment policies with new projects to collect the budget, etc.

Completing and submitting to competent authorities for approval the Binh Thuan Provincial Planning from 2021 to 2030, with a vision to 2050; General planning on construction of Mui Ne national tourist area, Binh Thuan province to 2040, vision to 2050. Reviewing and shortening administrative procedures, promoting digital transformation, implementing Project 06 of the Government; advanced improvement of PCI Index, Par Index, PaPi Index, and SiPas Index. Regular dialoguing to remove difficulties for businesses, investors in production and business, and real estate businesses.
