Binh Thuan welcomed nearly 700,000 turns of visitors in the first month of 2023

BTO – Binh Thuan has welcomed a great number of tourists in the first month of 2023, especially on the occasion of the Solar and Lunar New Year 2023 (Year of the Rabbit). Statistics showed that as many as 697,000 turns of tourists visited Binh Thuan in January, a year-on-year increase of 15.18 percent over last month and 2.1 times higher than that of last year.

As a result, revenues from tourism reached approximately VND 1,793 billion this month, up 15.26% compared to the last month of 2022 and 2.9 times higher than the same period last year. Of these, the number of international visitors also grew again with a record of about 23,900 arrivals, up 12.37% over the previous month and 4.6 times higher than the same period last year.

Binh Thuan’s Tourism activities were eventfully triggered during the Tet holiday.

As for the Lunar New Year 2023, the activities of Binh Thuan tourism are generally triggered ebulliently thanks to a great number of sightseers and vacationers.

In Ham Tien – Mui Ne tourist area, almost all of the accommodations’ room capacity reached 60-85 percent depending on the hotel rating.
