Binh Thuan’s leaders received the delegation of Kampong Chhang Provincial Military Region for New Year greetings

Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh - Alternate member of the Central Committee of the Party, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and leaders of departments and agencies received the delegation.

At the event, Major General Um Sophea informed about Kampong Chhnang province’s important results in socio-economic development and political stability. Up to now, Kampong Chhnang province in particular, and Cambodia in general have basically controlled the Covid-19 epidemic, gradually restoring and developing socio-economic.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, Major General Um Sophea sent his best wishes to the Party Committee and the people of Binh Thuan province. At the same time, he expressed his belief that the two provinces of Kampong Chhnang and Binh Thuan would continue to promote exchange and cooperation activities in terms of economy, culture, society, defense, and security.

Kampong Chhang Provincial Military Sub-Region sent greetings and presented gifts on the occasion of the new year.

At the reception, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh was pleased to hear about the positive results in socioeconomic development that Kampong Chhnang province has achieved in recent times. He also informed about the socio-economic development situation of Binh Thuan province to the guests. Accordingly, Binh Thuan province is developing based on three major pillars, including the processing energy industry; sea tourism and sports; and hi-tech agriculture.

Thanks to the efforts of the entire political system and the attention from the Central Government, Binh Thuan province has so far reaped many achievements in socioeconomic development. Especially the local transport infrastructure is gradually being improved and invested in synchronous development. Besides, the fields of health, education, and social security are continuously developed while security and national defense are maintained. These are important factors that have fostered Binh Thuan province to develop further in the coming time.

To emphasize the relationship between Vietnam - Cambodia, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh affirmed that: Leaders and the people of Binh Thuan province always cherish the solidarity and friendship between Vietnam - Cambodia. In the past time, the Military Sub-Region of Kampong Chhnang Province and the Military Command of Binh Thuan Province have had extensive cooperation, contributing to deepening the good friendship between Binh Thuan Province and Kampong Chhnang Province in particular and Vietnam - Cambodia in general.

In the upcoming time, Binh Thuan expects the mutual relationship between the two provinces would have more cooperation. Deputy Secretary Anh suggested leader of Kampong Chhnang province pave a more good ways for Vietnamese people living and working in Kampong Chhnang province.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, Deputy Secretary Anh sent his best wishes to major general Um Sophea and the delegation of the Military Sub-Region of Kampong Chhnang Province, wishing the cooperation relationship between the two provinces will be upheld and lifted to a new higher level.
