Introducing Binh Thuan 's Characteristics and Strengths
Vice Chairman Nguyen Minh introduced the province's unique features, potentials, and strengths across various sectors. Binh Thuan is currently focusing on green economic development centered on three main pillars of Industry, Tourism, and Agriculture. Particularly, Industry emphasizes clean and renewable energy, processing and manufacturing industries, and high-tech industries, organized into sectoral clusters. Tourism aims at developing a green and sustainable tourism model. Agriculture Prioritizes ecological agriculture with high-tech applications.
Additionally, several provincial "bottlenecks" are gradually being resolved. For example, highways passing through Binh Thuan have been put into operation, improving transportation connectivity and attracting a significant number of tourists. The government has also adjusted the provincial titanium reserve planning.
Furthermore, Binh Thuan has turned challenges into opportunities, promoting economic development through solar and wind energy and rural tourism. Plans are underway to transform the province's "mini-deserts" into service and urban complexes to attract visitors in the future.
Vice Chairman Nguyen Minh expressed hope that the relationship between Vietnam and China will continue to grow stronger. He also emphasized the role of the delegation in connecting enterprises and promoting Binh Thuan’s key agricultural products, such as dragon fruit, durian, and cantaloupe, which are officially exported to the Chinese market. Additionally, he encouraged collaboration with travel companies to attract more Chinese tourists to Vietnam in general and Binh Thuan in particular.
As a token of goodwill, Vice Chairman Nguyen Minh gifted the guest delegation with a souvenir featuring the iconic image of Binh Thuan 's dragon fruit. In return, Mr. Cao Bin presented a commemorative gift to the Vice Chairman.
Mr. Cao Bin thanked the provincial leaders for their warm reception and affirmed the strong and enduring friendship between the two countries, which has been cultivated over many years.
