VNAT visits Binh Thuan for two-day travel survey

BTO – The Famtrip national delegation led by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) has arrived in Binh Thuan for two days (September 10&11) to conduct a survey on the local tourism products.

The delegation met with the local tourism sector to gather information on the local tourist potentials, development situation and cutting-edge over the past years. In the meantime, the delegation paid visit to many famous destinations in the province, such as: Duc Thanh heritage area, Cham PoshaInu tower, Forgotten Land Park, Fish sauce village, Mui Ne flying sand hill, Bau Trang (White Lake) eco-tourism area, and so on.  Besides, the guests visited some hotels and resorts in Phan Thiet city to experience the accommodation and cuisine services.

The activity aims to promote the Binh Thuan’s tourism image, products and potentialities to nationwide and worldwide.

According to the Binh Thuan’s department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the locality has a variety of tourism products in forms of relaxation, marine ecology, sports, belief, cultural history, etc.

The number of visitors to Binh Thuan sharply increases by 12.86 percent a year averagely, which includes the 14.78-percent-growth of international visitors. Such development brought the local tourism revenues to the surge of 19.2 percent a year.

This fact-finding tour aims to learn about the tourist potential of the South-central coastal region, including Binh Thuan province, Said Ms. Pham Le Thao, deputy head of the travel department (VNAT). Thenceforth, the companies, travel agencies and enterprises would build up new tourism products to fully exploit each locality’s potentials in preparation for the National Tourism Year 2019.

Through this time’s survey, almost all of the travel enterprises confessed their excitement to the Binh Thuan’s unique tourism products, such as: the sand sculpture park, Mui Ne flying sand hills, etc. as well as the hospitality of the locals has left the most impression on the Famtrip guests.
