The Ca Duoc rocky expanse, formed some hundreds of years ago, stretches 1.5 kilometers along a partial Coast of Co Thach with a total area of 10 hectares. Due to the impact of tides, ocean currents, sea water, the rocks from the seabed have been pushed and protruded to the shore. They have been sheared, flattened year by year, forming various colors, shapes and sizes. People often finds the rocks in colors of black, grey, brown, yellow, purple, turquoise, white, etc. in couple with good-looking striation. Under the sunlight and waves, the whole rocky expanses shine in shimmering colors like pure pearls.
Deputy Director of DoCST Ngoc highlighted its unique and natural beauty of Ca Duoc rocky expanse that includes a variety of rocks in different sizes and colors. The landscape is known as a unique one in Vietnam that the nature has bestowed to the land and people of Binh Thuan. Thanks to favorable weather, the Ca Duoc rocky expanse has created an ideal inspiration for tourism development. In 2007, the Vietnam Record Book Center set a record: “Ca Duoc rocky expanse has the most colorful shapes in Vietnam”.
At the ceremony, on behalf of Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, Mrs. Ngoc has granted certificates to leader of Tuy Phong district.
