Revenues, which decreased over the same period last year, include: Import tax (VND 70 billion, down 68.5 percent), lottery (VND 100 billion, down 54.6 percent), foreign-owned enterprises (VND 80 billion, down 43.7 percent), other fees and charges (VND 10 billion, down 17.6 percent); state-owned enterprise (VND 85 billion, down 4.9 percent); environment protection tax (VND 40 billion, down 8.2 percent).
Due to a great decrease in some major revenues, the total budgetary revenues shrank by 27.6 percent in January. In the face of such decrease, the provincial leaders urged functional bodies to boost state budget collection and monitor the price-stabilized markets during Tet festival.
