State budget revenues hit VND 700 billion in January

BTO – Binh Thuan’s state budgetary revenue is estimated to reach VND 700 billion in the first month of the new year 2018, as reported by Binh Thuan’s provincial Statistics Office. In which, Revenues posting a year-on-year growth are: crude oil (VND 130 billion, up 72.6 percent), land use fees (VND 30 billion, up 30.2 percent), non-state revenue (VND 75 billion, up 28.3 percent), individual income tax (VND 35 billion, up 20.2 percent), registration fee (VND 18 billion, up 7.8 percent).

Revenues, which decreased over the same period last year, include: Import tax (VND 70 billion, down 68.5 percent), lottery (VND 100 billion, down 54.6 percent), foreign-owned enterprises (VND 80 billion, down 43.7 percent), other fees and charges (VND 10 billion, down 17.6 percent); state-owned enterprise (VND 85 billion, down 4.9 percent); environment protection tax (VND 40 billion, down 8.2 percent).

Due to a great decrease in some major revenues, the total budgetary revenues shrank by 27.6 percent in January. In the face of such decrease, the provincial leaders urged functional bodies to boost state budget collection and monitor the price-stabilized markets during Tet festival.
