Rural tourism is on the rise

BTO- Last Saturday, I went to Cam Binh Beach (Tan Phuoc commune, La Gi town) at the Anh Chau couple's invitation. This is not the first time I have been to La Gi or Cam Binh Beach, but it has been more than 5 years since I had the chance to return, partly due to COVID-19 and not having any related work. Cam Binh Beach is now very different from previous years because of the scene of bustling tourism.

In the past, Cam Binh Beach was wild therefore, it is called "a muse". That beautiful scene is still there; the only difference is it is much livelier thanks to the existence of tourists. Tan Phuoc is racing to complete the missing criteria to reach the advanced new rural area by the end of this year. However, when the wide roads and the spacious houses of the people appear, Tan Phuoc looks like a city, no longer the poor coastal commune it used to be. Contributing to the spacious and vibrant appearance of Tan Phuoc is a large part of the sea tourism sector. Tourists coming to Cam Binh-Tan Phuoc are rising because of the beautiful beaches and fresh seafood with more affordable prices than many other regions. In Tan Phuoc, there is community tourism; though many problems in operation are still chaotic, professional tourism has been formed, which is an outstanding feature.

Mr Hoang Dat - a real estate business in Binh Duong, said: Every month, I travel between Phan Thiet - La Gi two or three times to conduct business transactions. I usually stop by Cam Binh to swim in the sea and buy seafood to bring back as gifts for the children and relatives. Cam Binh Beach is very crowded on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, so I prefer choosing weekdays to relax.

Travelling with Mr Dat, Mr Chuong likes the rural and mountain scenery. He shared: "Whenever I travel on the highway, I always admire the scenery along the road. Sometimes, the dragon fruit flowers are pure white; the pure sight melts the heart. Sometimes, the dragon fruit garden is bright red, creating excitement in the soul.

Recently, my friend also took me to the La Ngau tourist area, which is also the La Nga river flowing down to Dong Nai, but this place is very strange. There is crystal water with schools of fish swimming around, and on the riverbanks are gardens of fresh flowers, mango gardens, and green cashew gardens, so on holidays, thousands of visitors come to have fun and relax, etc. If in Cam Binh or Phan Thiet, fresh seafood contributes to attracting tourists, in La Ngau, there are local specialities such as hill chicken, mountain goat, betel leaves, and wild bamboo shoots... creating a unique attraction in the cuisine of tourists...
On October 20, Vietnamese Women's Day, millions of visitors to La Gi, Phan Thiet, and Ham Thuan Nam For entertainment; in Duc Linh, Tanh Linh, and Ham Thuan Bac districts, thousands of people also come to Reo waterfall, Ba waterfall, La Ngau tourist site, and travel on Ham Thuan - Da Mi lake. Most tourists like the charming scenery with a rustic feel and fresh air, plus the cuisine with local specialities are the reasons why rural tourism has been popular recently. Going to the countryside is like finding childhood memories for many people who came from the rural and started a business in big cities and enjoyed the little peace when eating and sleeping in the middle of the majestic mountains and forests... I have witnessed many people in the cities bringing their children to Da Mi to show them to be immersed in nature, showing them durian trees, jackfruit trees, fresh macadamia nuts, avocado trees, mangosteen trees... Many people say that a family trip is not only for relaxation and entertainment but also educates children about the surrounding world.
Binh Thuan rural tourism stretches from Tuy Phong to Duc Linh, most districts and towns have rural tourist spots. New tourist spots are being formed, and are completing legal procedures for sustainable operations. Rural tourism is contributing to the diversification of Binh Thuan tourism in various fields and "holding" tourists to stay for a long time.
