Currently, Flying Sand hill (Doi Cat Bay) is divided into 2 areas including the 35 hectares sand-dune area and its 1.8 hectares opposite site. The former 35 hectares sand-dune area which are being exploited for the purpose of sightseeing and recreation while the opposite site of the sand-dune covering an area of 1.8 hectares is being rent by 21 individual businesses on visitors’ account, such as beverage, karaoke, massage, seafood and souvenirs.
Since the Flying Sand Hill tourist area is reportedly a celebrated destination which lures a great number of sightseers and visitors, the introduction of project which figures out numerous feasible solutions to promoting fully its potentialities and beefing up much more recreational actives for catering visitors coming to the tourist area.
After mastering the objectives as well as contents of the draft project, deputy secretary Duong Van An stressed the importance role of managing, using and exploiting the tourist area, but the most priority is given to management task. Otherwise, it is necessary to establish a management team in prevention of customer dispute and rip-off.
