Binh Thuan sees spikes in tourist arrivals in May 2022

BTO – The Southcentral coastal province of Binh Thuan has seen a surge in tourist arrivals in May 2022, a year-on-year increase of 97.49 percent and a month-on-month rise of 6 percent. As for international visitors, the locality has so far welcomed about 5,600 turns of tourists in May, increasing by 2.4 times over the same period last year.

Thanks to many newly-operated tourist attractions, such as: NovaWorld (Tien Thanh – Phan Thiet), The Happy Ride Glamping (Mui Ne), etc, Binh Thuan has gained such positive results. Besides, favorable weather has facilitated tourists in choosing their vacation on Phu Quy island.

Also in May, the Finale of Miss Tourism Vietnam Global Contest taking place at the Fishing Village Theater - Phan Thiet City has attracted numerous tourists and guests nationwide. In the first five months of 2022, the local tourism has welcomed an estimate of 1,888,800 visitors (a year-on-year of 17 percent), raising the total revenues to VND3,600 billion.
